I'm proud to call Pte Kevin Elliott my son-in-law
Kevin was enstranged husband to Carol, Much Loved Son to Sandy and Maggie, Grandson to Joan, Brother, Uncle, Son in law to Jim&Jean, Brother in law, Cousin, Nephew, also grandson to Mags and Eck
Kevin was also a fun loving guy who lived life to the max, You knew when kev was gng do something daft or had done he always had silly grin on his face.
Kevin was killed in Afghan 31st aug 2009 in what i call the blair/bush war another young life taken needlesly

A Brave Soldier
He stood brave he stood tall he was the soldier
A hero for his country against the foe
He stood proud in the crowd in his uniform
And people saluted him where ever he did go
He went to war for his queen and his country
A soldier the bravest of them all
The lives that he saved was uncounted
And this soldier always stood tall
He was a king, a leader, an hero
He never tired or cowered away
He was the soldier fighting for his country
And would take whatever came his way
One day his luck nearly faded
The bullet hit him outright
The soldier the hero the warrior
Lay dying alone in the night
The scenes of his life flashed before him
He could see his comrads in the lights
His mother, his father, his family
Shouting come on soldier you can fight
The force was to strong to let go now
He was a soldier he had to fight to the end
With blood pouring from his body
He crawled to get help from his friends
Everything before him went black
He thought god it is the end
But he was saved this brave soldier of our country
All thanks to his wonderfull friends.

A NEW YEAR WISH
For the New Year my wish will be
for family and friends to be happy and healthy,
I wish for lot's of laughter not tear's
for i spent a lot of time crying this year,
I dont want war and i wish for peace
i just want everyone to feel at ease,
I wish for children to feel free to play
and feel the sun on their face on a warm sunny day,
I wish for my angel's in heaven now
that they will let me know their around somehow,
Just something small to let me know they are near
keeping me calm when i feel a sadness or fear,
Another year is about to start
but my angel's will live forever right here in my heart.
